According to the meteorological department, low pressure created in the north of the Arabian Sea has resulted in renewed rainfall in the state. According to the meteorological department, heavy rains with thunderstorms are forecast in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Chhota Udepur, Bharuch and Surat districts on the 26th. On September 29 and 30, heavy to very heavy rains are forecast in South Gujarat, Central Gujarat and Saurashtra.

Meghmaher in 81 talukas in last 24 hours
Meghmaher has occurred in 81 talukas in the last 24 hours in the state, with the highest rainfall in Surat, Dwarka, Navsari, Kutch and Gandhinagar districts.
Palsana, Kalyanpur and Dwarka received one to one and a half inches of rain. The state has received 81.91 per cent rainfall so far this season with 27 inches, while 17 talukas of the state have received less than 50 per cent rainfall as the monsoon season is coming to an end.
