It is to tell that the Lateral Entry Test for admission of scholars to Class IX in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are going to be persisted 13 February 2021. The last date of submission of the appliance Form at JNV is 15 December 2020.
At present, there are 646 functional Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas cover 28 States and 07 UTs. so as to optimally utilize the infrastructure and facilities available in these Vidyalayas, it’s been decided by the Samiti to fill the vacant seats in IX class through an All India level Selection Test. The District-wise vacant seats within the Vidyalayas are separately notified in local newspapers.
Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th Class Eligibility Condition
- Only those candidates who are studying Class VIII during the tutorial Session 2021 – 22 in one among the govt. ./Govt. recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought, are eligible.
- Candidate appearing for the admission test must qualify/ pass Class VIII within the school term 2020 – 21 from a Govt./Govt. recognized school within the district where he/she is seeking admission.
- A candidate seeking admission must change state between 01.05.2005 and 30.04.2009 (both days inclusive). this is often applicable to all or any categories of candidates including those that belong to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe.

Online applications could also be submitted from 04 November 2020 (00:00 Hrs.). The candidate may ask NVS Hqrs. Website www.nvshq.org or website of JNVs. The last date to use for the Class-IX Lateral Entry test is 15 December 2020
Venue & Date of Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 9 Exam
Selection Test for admission to Class IX are going to be conducted In 13 February 2021 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of concerned district/ the other center allotted by NVS.
Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th Class Examination:
- Date of Examination- 13 Feb 2021.
- Duration- Two & Half hours (10.00 Am to 12.30 PM)
- Centre for examination shall be within the JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA of the district concerned.
- The Medium of Language for Examination are going to be English/Hindi.
Composition Of Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th Class Test:
Selection Test will contains questions from the themes of Mathematics, General Science, English and Hindi. Difficulty level of the test paper shall be of sophistication VIII.
